Academic Programs are the programs of study pursued by students at your institution.  Program data is used during Platinum Analysis and Sectioning to help determine demand for course offerings.

Program data consists of the following:

Catalog Versions (the name of the catalog and term when program rules go into effect)

Program Rules (the individual conditions that must be met to satisfy a requirement)

Program Versions (program + catalog version + a collection of program rules required to complete the program)

Program Templates (specific road maps outlined for program completion to help students navigate the rules within a program version by simplifying course and rule selection and to increase predictability for planning)

Program data may be imported from the student information system as part of a larger import process to support Platinum Analytics and Sectioning or may be manually configured within Astra Schedule.
