Exam Meeting Patterns

All distinct meeting patterns for section meetings, including exam meetings, are recorded within the Astra Schedule system.  Whether applying exam meeting times via meeting pattern mapping or timetabling, only "exam" type meeting patterns may be considered as valid times.  The meeting pattern record within Astra Schedule includes an "Is Exam" flag for designating meeting patterns for exams.

 

Exam meeting pattern records can be configured directly on the meeting pattern list within the application or created on-the-fly during the configuration of meeting pattern mapping rules when exams are generated for a term.  Meeting patterns added during the mapping process are automatically added to the meeting pattern list and flagged as exam type patterns.
