Upgrading, Updating, or Copying Application Instances and Databases

Astra Schedule will periodically receive maintenance updates and feature upgrades.  These application updates are announced and distributed via Astra Schedule technical support.  The same .msi file is used for upgrades and initial installations.  The options chosen in the Astra Schedule Control Panel during the update process determine the tasks performed.

 

The most typical tasks performed are an initial installation, or a standard upgrade to an existing installation and database. Other tasks may be performed as well, including editing application configuration settings, creating an upgrade test database, or copying an existing database.
